Semiconductor factories require a large amount of water, including cooling water, drinking water, neutral water, chilled water, and sewage. Some of this water is non-conductive pure water, and in some cases, instruments are required to not pollute the production pure water. In addition, pipelines are made of plastic or metal materials.
